We’re holding our first-ever COACHES’ APPRECIATION WEEK – April 29th-May 4th. Our staff coaches, across all programs, are the heartbeat of our organization, and we are so proud to celebrate each and every one. Within the varying levels of play, we have 22 full-time staff coaches and over 50 part-time coaches (who have other full-time jobs – think: behind the desk all day to the soccer fields at night)! In addition, within our recreation program, we have over 500 volunteer coaches!!
One thing is true across every program – we have coaches that care about your kids and love what they do. Developing, supporting, and learning alongside each player.
Please join us in recognizing your individual coaches this upcoming week – a card, a “thank you”, a handshake, an acknowledgement. Anything goes such a long way! They are all deserving of a small dose of praise.
Mark your calendar (Wednesday, May 1st 5:30pm-6:30pm) for an incredible webinar with Gordon MacLelland, from Working with Parents in Sport, as he discusses Managing Disappointment and Avoiding Devastation – a topic that is so vital for navigating the sports’ journey with our children. It’s a can’t miss!
Registration is now open for our summer camps!

As we gear up for the upcoming soccer tryouts, we're looking to spread the word far and wide! Your support means the world to us, and what better way to show it than by proudly displaying an NC Fusion yard sign in your front yard or at your business location?
These signs not only promote the tryouts but also signal to the community that we're passionate about fostering young talent and building a strong soccer family. Let's paint the town with enthusiasm and encouragement!
If you're in, simply grab a yard sign from the field house at either Bryan Park or Truist Sports Park.
Together, let's ignite the spirit of soccer in our community!
Thank you for your unwavering support!
Send a photo of the sign in your yard or place of business to info@ncfusion.org and you will be entered into a prize drawing!

NC Fusion is pleased to offer an international experience to a group of 22 nine and ten year old boys through their participation in the Costa Girona Summer Cup in Barcelona, Spain this coming June. This is an impactful opportunity and to most, the first time they’ll be traveling internationally. We are proud to have them representing the United States of America and NC Fusion as one of two U.S. clubs participating. This trip not only represents their commitment to the sport, but their family’s commitment to each individual’s growth as a person. We are confident that while it will be an incredible experience etc participate in the sport they love in Spain against competition from other countries, the cultural impact will transform the lives of these boys. NC Fusion believes that this trip fits strongly with its mission “to create intentional experiences through sport that will positively impact people for life.”
This opportunity comes with a large financial commitment and to some, comes with other sacrifice. Several players on the roster currently receive significant financial assistance from NC Fusion to participate in our programs, and will need to continued support to go on this life changing trip. Our team will actively be fundraising and seeking support for these children. We kindly ask that you will partner with us to ensure that the trip is financially viable for all the children and families.
Click below to find links to individual players and their donation sites, as well as our team Fundraising link. You can donate directly to a specific player through his link, or you may donate to the general Team Fundraising link. If you donate to a specific player, those funds will go directly to supporting that player. If you donate to the Team Fundraising link, those funds will be split equally amongst the 22 players going on the trip.
We truly thank you for your support of this life changing opportunity for the 2014 NC Fusion Boys!
We will be announcing additional international soccer opportunities for NC Fusion players and families starting in the 2024-25 season.
For each Friday in April, we want to see you wearing your Fusion attire out and about. At school, in the park, on vacation, or even just eating ice cream - we want to see you repping your jersey everywhere!
Three finalists will be selected and the winning pic will be voted on by our players and their families. The winner will receive an exciting prize!
To submit a photo:
1. Upload the photo to your own Facebook or Instagram page and use the hashtag, #FusionFriday
2. All photos must be tagged by the end of the April to be entered.
*All hashtagged photos may be used in future NC Fusion marketing initiatives.
