Recreation Field Hockey

Program Information


The NC Fusion Field Hockey Recreation Program is a great way to get started learning a new Olympic sport! Our goal for the recreation program is to teach new skills, gain an understanding of field hockey, play short sided games, compete in play days, and have fun!

Program Details:

  • For players in the K-8th grade
  • No player evaluation is required
  • Train on Sundays for eight weeks
  • 90 minute sessions will consist of skills training followed by 7v7 games
  • Sessions offered at Truist Sports Park in Bermuda Run
  • Fee = $130 (8 weeks)


Required Equipment:

  • Mouthguard
  • Shin guards
  • Outdoor Stick
  • Turf shoes, cleats or sneakers


This equipment can be purchased through Dick’s Sporting Goods. You can also reach out to Aerial Field Hockey located in Charlotte and we will arrange delivery of equipment. Their website is www.aerialfieldhockey.com.


Registration


Grant funding is available through Dick's Sporting Goods and All Kids Play to families who lack the resources to pay for youth sports.
