Beyond Sports has partnered with local clubs and organizations to provide opportunities and resources for families to participate in local sports leagues, as well as, resources for coaches and teachers to encourage a better experience of play at the middle school level. Our partnerships with youth local sports organizations are key to providing the best coaching and sports experiences for kids to participate in and we truly appreciate their expertise for our clinics.
Partner Organizations

NC Fusion: Offers a variety of sports programs for youth and adults. Soccer, Lacrosse, Field Hockey.
Triad Youth Lacrosse Association: (TYLA) serves Greensboro, NC for K-8th grade boys and girls. We teach the fundamentals of the games with a heavy emphasis on “fun’. We honor the history of the game and teach good sportsmanship.
Dillard Elite Training: Offers basketball training and basketball programs.
PYL Piedmont Youth Lacrosse: The goal of this program is to introduce beginner and novice-level boys’ and girls’ youth athletes to lacrosse.
Spartan Wrestling: Offers wrestling training and programs.
Greensboro Field Hockey: Offers league play and clinics.
Proehlific Park Football & PSP: Offers league play and clinics.
Piedmont Volleyball: Providing volleyball leagues and programming.
North Carolina Rowing Center: Providing youth and adult rowing opportunities.
Greensboro Youth Rugby: Providing youth and adult rugby opportunities.
Greensboro Parks and Recreation: Discover Greensboro resource guide to upcoming leagues and sports programs including baseball, basketball, football, cheerleading.
First Tee: Club Golf is a “first of its kind” program designed to introduce elementary and middle school students to competitive golf in a fun and efficient manner.
AIR Adaptive Sports Greensboro: The mission of the Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) Section of Greensboro Parks and Recreation is to provide recreation services for individuals of all abilities.
GTP Tennis Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating opportunities for young people to pursue excellence in academics, tennis, service, and life.
High Point Blaze Track and XC Club: AAU Track/XC Club partnering with students in the development of physical fitness, health nutrition, & leadership.
Financial Opportunities
DICK’S SPORTING GOODS SPORTS MATTER REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation is proud to announce a $5,000,000 Sports Matter grant to Every Kid Sports, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, to provide income restricted families financial assistance to cover player registration fees and help ensure every kid in your community has a chance to play in your league next season.
Coaches Resources
Support the Coach: with necessary sports equipment and coaching resources for practices.
Building Staff Capacity: To encourage and support students in diverse team sports. Providing equipment for recess and games for them to help encourage and support sport activities.
SRO Resources
Support the School Resource Officers: Beyond Sports is partnering with A Son Never Forgets Foundation to expand resources for School Resource Officers (SRO) at Middle and High Schools in Greensboro.
By partnering together we are able to support schools and students with basic needs and sports equipment to help students thrive at school. SROs play an important role in schools and can discreetly offer students essentials, this not only addresses immediate needs but also reinforces the SRO’s role as a supportive figure in the student’s life, helping to foster a sense of safety and care within the school.



Volunteer With Us!

Follow our page to see a variety of opportunities to be involved in sports and service projects through Beyond Sports NC. Elementary clinics, field days, special events, service projects, supporting middle school sports with clinics and game day support, and outreach programs and partnership programs. You can commit to single dates, the whole series or even just a time slot! A variety of sports and games will be introduced, no need to have knowledge of the sport, just a desire to mentor and have fun with the kids!
