NC Fusion's USL Academy Summer Program

The NC Fusion USL Academy is a summer training program for top-level high school and college players. This program/team will train 3x/week during May and June (+16 sessions), and each player will have the opportunity to participate in a minimum of 4 games within the USL A Southeast Conference.

The Southeast USL Academy Conference includes the following teams: Asheville City SC, Fox Soccer Academy, NC Courage, Wake FC, and VA United FC.

Eligible Participants

Current 2007-2011 ECNL or equivalent-level players

Current college players.

As we inch toward the summer months, we wanted to share that the USL Academy Training Program is back for another high-level opportunity for ECNL players in May and June – in connection with our USL W Team. This program will run 3 training sessions per week, and each rostered player will have the opportunity to participate in at least 3 summer league games.

The USL A training program will be capped at 24 players. 2011s, 2010s, 2009s, and 2008s and rising/current college players are eligible to participate. Players outside of NC Fusion are welcome to be evaluated and selected.

If you are hoping that your player can participate in the USL A summer program, the tryouts will be held during the age-appropriate ECNL girls tryouts on Saturday, February 28th at Bryan Park Soccer Complex. The USL W staff will be present and making program selections.
